"My Shepherd Will Supply My Need"

Earlier this year GIA Publications published a choral setting of mine, and I’m just now getting a chance to highlight it. It’s a 2-part setting of “My Shepherd Will Supply My Need.” I originally wrote it for Becky and I to sing as a duet (hence the dedication), but reworked it a bit for 2 voice choir.

It’s fairly simple, yet beautifully supports this marvelous text. I’d encourage you to check it out whether you have a large, trained choir (it will help you work on choral tone) or a small group (it’s not all that difficult!).

Scott Aniol

Scott Aniol holds a bachelor's degree in church music from Bob Jones University (Greenville, SC), a master's degree in musicology from Northern Illinois University (DeKalb, IL), and has studied theology at Central Baptist Theological Seminary (Plymouth, MN) and Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. He was ordained to to the gospel ministry by First Baptist Church (Rockford, IL) in April of 2004. As the executive director of Religious Affections Ministries, Scott speaks on the subjects of music and worship at various churches and conferences.     Hi Scott,

    My husband and I are looking for a duet to sing in church on Sunday. “My Shepherd Will Supply My Need” seems perfect. You are a very talented artist. We don’t have time to order it in via mail. Can we pay and then you can email us the sheet music?
