Dear friend,

Thank you for your interest in Religious Affections Ministries. Below you will find the latest information about what is happening with RAM, upcoming events, latest resources, and how you can pray for us!

Ministry News

Scott AniolWe’re slowing getting settled in Greenville, having moved down here at the beginning of September. Our house in Rockford has not yet sold, and we are living with Becky’s family until our finances are more stable. Please continue to pray that our house (and car) would sell, and that I would be able to raise more financial support for the ministry.

I’ve enjoyed having time to work on some projects, articles, and other presentations for future meetings. I’ve had some exciting opportunities arise that I’ll tell you about in future months. Also, we’re planning to record an album in November, which I’m really excited about. More details to come soon.

Thank you again for your prayers and encouraging support. Please feel free to contact me at any time!

Upcoming Events
Scott Aniol’s Itinerary

October is a busy month! On Sunday, October 5 I’ll be with Pastor T.J. Klapperich at Calvary Baptist Church in Winter Garden, FL. I’ll be speaking three times as well as providing some music. The following Sunday I’ll be with Pastor Billy Gotcher at Berea Baptist Church near Clearwater, FL. He is having me speak on Sunday, and then is hosting a pastor’s forum on Monday, which will give me an opportunity to speak for other pastors in the area.

The following week I fly up to Michigan for Detroit Baptist Seminary’s Mid-America Conference on Preaching. I’ve always benefitted from this conference, and I look forward to making contacts with many pastors as well.

On Sunday, October 19 I’ll be with Pastor Art Larson at Tri-Lakes Baptist Church in Brighton, MI. I spoke there on a Wednesday evening in July, and he has asked me to come again and speak on a Sunday.

The month ends with an extended weekend with Caleb Roth (music pastors) and Bruce Dunford (pastor) at First Baptist Church in West Bend, WI. I will be leading choir and orchestra clinics on Friday evening and all day Saturday, and then speaking, singing, and leading on Sunday. It looks like a packed weekend!

Unfortunately, I’ll be away from my family during the month, but I’m looking forward to ministering in these churches, and hopefully raising support and making more contacts!

Camp Joy Music Ministry Conference
January 22nd – 24th, 2009

Leading other believers in the worship of God is one of the most noble efforts to which we could give ourselves. Yet in our culture of musical relativism, worldly worship and busy schedules, finding the time and good resources to plan God-glorifying worship is not always easy. The Music Ministry Conference has been designed to help pastors, music directors and lay music ministers to be better equipped to serve the Lord in this vital ministry.

If you are a pastor, music director, or church musician, this conference is for you!

Speakers include: Kevin Bauder, David Ledgerwood, Steve Allen, and Scott Aniol

Check-in is from 3-6 PM on Thursday, with supper at 6:00 PM and the first service at 7:30 PM.
The conference ends at 3 PM on Saturday.
