Episode 5 of “By the Waters of Babylon” Podcast Now Available: “Christians in Culture”

I have posted episode 4 of my new podcast, “By the Waters of Babylon.” You can listen here.

In this episode, I first explore three common, historic Christian views on how Christians and churches ought to interact with culture.

Second, I introduce a recently-written hymn you might not know, “Lord, We Bow Before Your Glory” by Scottish pastor Eric Alexander.

Third, I recommend and briefly summarize and important classic book that explains what would later become two kingdom theology, The City of God by Augustine.

Finally, I explain one of the key ways God has given us to be sure we are properly set apart from the world even as we work within the world: weekly celebration of the Lord’s Day.

I pray that this episode will be a help and an encouragement to you. Please subscribe to the podcast, and if you find it helpful, please rate it on iTunes.
