Should Christian Worship Happen with a “Concert Atmosphere?” | Roger E. Olson

Should Christian Worship Happen with a ‘Concert Atmosphere’?

Even Roger Olson doesn’t think so. (As his post makes clear, Roger Olson is a noteworthy author and theologian on the theological left.) And in making his case, Olson reminds us what a dismal state “conservative” evangelical worship has become.

If the large swath of Christians throughout church history would find unintelligible or even blasphemous the atmosphere, style, and content our “worship service,” we should probably rethink the way we’re worshiping.
