New Recording: "God Himself Is With Us" by Scott & Becky Aniol

I am excited to announce the upcoming release of a new album produced by Religious Affections Ministries titled, “God Himself Is With Us: The Gospel Proclaimed Through Hymns.”

The goal of this album two-fold: (1) To proclaim the gospel through hymns rich doctrinally and musically; (2) To promote, and in some cases introduce, great congregational hymnody that rightly stirs the mind and the affections.

To that end, this album contains almost one hour of vocal solos and duets performed by my wife, Becky, and me, accompanied by piano, string quartet, and other light acoustic instruments. We aimed to produce a modest, yet stimulating album of rich gospel-centered hymns.

Click here for a more thorough introduction to the album.

The album works through a progression of hymns focusing on the God of the Gospel, the Provision of the Gospel, the Response to the Gospel, and the Results of the Gospel. Hymns on the album include: “God Himself Is With Us,” Holy God, We Praise Thy Name,” “Let Us Give the Lord Our Praise,” “Of the Father’s Love Begotten,” Stricken, Smitten, and Afflicted,” “My Song Is Love Unknown,” “Priest and Victim, Jesus Dies,” “Jesus Christ is Ris’n Today,” “I Will Arise and Go To Jesus,” “God of Grace,” “My God, I Love Thee,” “Lord, We Bow Before Your Glory,” “The Power of the Gospel,” “How Sweet and Awful,” and “To Be With Christ.”
