New study guide for Worship in Song prepared by Dr. Gary Reimers

Every Bob Jones Seminary student takes a class called “Issues in Christian Ministry” during their first year. The class, directed by Dr. Gary Reimers, discusses, well, issues in Christian ministry including the bible version debate, the use of alcohol, divorce and remarriage, and worship/music philosophy. Last year I had the opportunity of lecturing twice to the class (an honor I will have again this November).

The class is required to read a series of books on a variety of topic, and this year Dr. Reimers is adding Worship in Song: A Biblical Approach to Music and Worship to the curriculum.

In order to aid the students in reading my book (evidently they’ll be tested on its contents, along with other things they read), Dr. Reimers has prepared a helpful study guide. He gave me permission to make it available to others as well.

At the end of each chapter in my book, I included discussion questions. Those questions were directed more toward lay people to aid in casual group discussion, but Dr. Reimers’ guide gets much deeper into the issues of the book.

So if you’d like a helpful guide to help you through Worship in Song, here is the guide Dr. Reimers prepared.
